Overview

The PV Substation Monitoring device is a fully integrated intelligent monitoring terminal designed specifically for box-type substations in PV and battery storage plants. Lingqi’s unit integrates transformer protection, electrical measurement and control, communication management, and local display into a single device, replacing the traditional four-device solution of “protection relay + RTU + communication manager + meter.” This reduces equipment costs by 50% and cabinet wiring by 80%. The device supports monitoring at all voltage levels including 35kV, 10kV, and 0.4kV.

The device supports IEC 61850 GOOSE/SV, IEC 104, and Modbus TCP protocols, meeting both State Grid and China Southern Grid renewable energy access requirements. Built-in fiber optic differential protection and transformer over-temperature alarm functions achieve protection operation times under 20ms. Data is uploaded to the centralized control center via 4G, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet, supporting remote parameter modification, setting adjustments, and firmware OTA upgrades for truly unmanned station operation. The IP54-rated enclosure and -40°C to 70°C wide temperature range ensure reliable performance in outdoor box-type substation environments.
